ART

We can create your designs from scratch or help you conceptualize your art using sketches or materials you provide. The following is a set of general guidelines to consider when submitting artwork you already have. Please keep in mind that these are guidelines and not a mandate. They are provided to save you time and money.

NON-DIGITAL ART

While we do prefer digital art, non-digital artwork is accepted. Non-digital art should be at, or larger, than the actual printing size you desire. Please provide black and white original line art in addition to a color sample. We ask that hand-drawn submissions be protected against being easily smudged or otherwise distorted. Please bring your non-digital art directly to our office. They will be returned to you upon completion of the job.

DIGITAL ART

Vector art (Illustrator files) works best for screen printing, but image files (photographs, paintings, hand drawn sketches, etc.) can also be adapted. For best results the image resolution should be 300 dpi at final printed size.

Sizing: Typical image area on adult T-shirts is 12″ wide x 17″ tall

Preferred Formats: Adobe Illustrator vector art (.ai, .eps, .pdf) or Photoshop (.psd, .jpg, .eps)

Unsupported Formats: Pagemaker (.pmd), Microsoft Word/Publisher/Excel (.doc, .xls, .pub)

• Convert all fonts to paths/outlines (Illustrator)
• Include all placed images in addition to actual design files
• Submit image files at 300 dpi at actual size (Photoshop)
• Identify all colors as spot colors including white (Illustrator)
• We can create custom mixes for most Pantone Coated colors
• Do not flatten or merge layers (Photoshop)
